In the days of the stat camerea, before computers were the preferred way to produce graphic materials, LogicAssistance was helping advertising artists and agency people produce faster and cheaper by using output from a laser printer and CorelDRAW instead of purchasing text to paste up. Before digital audio production was within the realm of the current office technology (486-40), LogicAssistance helped small audio production personnel use computers to produce audio materials, greatly expanding their capabilities and cutting costs. While most government contractors used proprietary LAN only contract management applications, LogicAssistance showed it's customers how to use web technology to provide information to not only their customers but also to their people in the field. The methods LogicAssistance developed are now common requirements in new RFP's. Timekeeping used to commonly be accomplished with paper, faxes and double and sometimes triple entry. LogicAssistance not only brought web based time keeping to many but also developed one of the easiest user interfaces for the employee in the field by first asking, "what would keep someone from wanting to use this?" After as much of the reason for not using the system was removed as possible, what was left was accepted readily. And today, as the general population reels from the feeling they are being talked at, LogicAssistance is embracing and developing digital media casting technology like podcasting. These technologies are grwoing in popularity and will soon need to be understood in order to reach a significant part of the population. |
